SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS ARE ON-CALL, AT-WILL POSITIONS WITH NO GUARANTEE OF HOURS OR WORK.

 

*Certificated Substitute Pay Rates

  $200/day or $100/half-day

  $210/day Upon completion of CPSD Guest Teacher training, substitute is eligible to receive 

  $225/day substitutes that have retired from the Clover Park School District

 

Clover Park School District is seeking teacher applicants to substitute for regular and special education classroom teachers. We want educators who are committed to a continuing program of professional and personal growth, and who want to be part of a growing, developing school district.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Valid and appropriate certificate and endorsements for Washington State required (this is not an application for emergency certification).
•Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective classroom management.
•Demonstrated ability to successfully employ effective teaching methods.
•Demonstrated desire and ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Employment with Clover Park School District is conditional pending completion of a Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint background check as required by RCW28A.400.303. (NOTE: All associated background check fees are the employee’s responsibility.) *These rates of pay remain in place through the 2021-2022 school year or until the State of Emergency Pandemic period is lifted as declared by the Governor of the State of Washington, whichever occurs first.
